Survey deadline extended

 


Thousands of Quad-Citians have voiced their opinions in a survey and another 225 weighed in during focus groups last week all offering ideas on making the Quad-Cities a cool, creative and prosperous place.

According to the Quad-Cities Chamber of Commerce, more than 3,000 people have completed the community survey as part of a Regional Vision planning effort.

SOUTH SHORE INSIDER: Jacqueline Collins

ROCKLAND -- The new chairwoman of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Jacqueline Collins, sees her one-year term as a pivot point in the chamber’s history.

Well underway is a 10-month study of the region’s economic-growth opportunities by the Atlanta-based firm Market Street Services.
